OMG! Female Sexual Dysfunction

So, get ready goils. Here's another Dis-ease being foisted on us by Big Pharma: 'Restless Vagina Syndrome' aka 'Female Sexual Dysfunction'.

You are among the "43 percent of American women [who] experience some degree of impaired sexual function," according to a Journal of the American Medical Association article. The FDA’s evolving definition of FSD includes decreased desire or arousal, sexual pain and orgasm difficulties -- but only if the woman feels "personal distress" about it.

And who thinks these goodies up?
[Irwin] Goldstein established an FSD clinic with Dr. Jennifer Berman, who now heads a Beverly Hills clinic and appears on Oprah. As one of the health professionals on a 1998 panel that received financial sponsorship from eight pharmaceutical companies, she helped define female sexual dysfunction. Some 22 drug companies, including Pfizer, had financial ties to 18 of the 19 authors of that panel’s report, the BMJ revealed.

I can hardly wait for the next man-ufactured disease to show up! Hopefully something that will cure me of ever having to come across garbage like this.

It seems to be it is dysfunctional specially when there is money to be made.

Pharmas are in it for money. They are making billions for ED stuff. Why not make money off of women too. Men are going blind to overcome ED (as ED medications can cause blindness). It is all about moneymaking and should be called PD - pharma dysfunction.

It is embarrassing to watch T.V with kids because those commercial on ED keep coming. Being a male I was hesitant to comment on this but could not help it.

Am glad you did comment, LeDaro. Don't ever think you shouldn't comment on any of our posts, no matter the topic or your opinion on it.

Yes, Delaro, I agree. Big Pharma is selling whatever crap they can: for the money.
And it makes no difference who is opening their billfold, women or men.
This article caught my eye because it appears to be a spin off from the big ED scam.
I don't have a TV, so am curious to know if ads are shown about FSD.

No ads for FSD yet but they are coming soon.
You know, pharmas and other businesses work on people’s weaknesses. What is the biggest weakness of a man or fear – ED. So they make billions on it.

What is the biggest weakness of a woman – ‘looks’. So they’re already making hundreds of billions on botox, augmentation of certain parts of the body and so on and so on it goes. In terms of being manipulated by pharmas and other businesses we are even or men fair slightly better.

"restless vagina syndrome"?
WTF?

Is that like, you're sleeping and your crotch wakes up unexpectedly then crawls out of the bed by itself looking for some warm milk and cookies?

I remember a plastic surgeon talking about "bow thighs" [bigger than your hips] and saying over 80% of women are *built wrong*"

How can 80% of women be "built wrong"? The only thing 'built wrong' on them is their purse strings that are too damn loose every time some medical moron comes along with a product to shill.

And I'm including a lot of that overpriced bullsh*t herbalist crap, as well..

You want women to have a high desire for men [if they're het]? High sex drive? Well Gents--learn to have good sex. It's that simple.

Notice how if HE doesn't "want it"--it's because there's "something wrong with HER" [ugly, smelly, rude, whatever] and when SHE "doesn't want it"--there's STILL something wrong with HER?

How does that work?
